Abu Garcia Pro Skeet Reese picked up his second tour-level win on Sunday after holding off fellow Abu Garcia Pro Kelly Jordon by 8 pounds, 9 ounces to win the BASS Elite tournament on the Potomac River. Reese finished the four-day competition with a total weight of 66 pounds. Along with the victory, Reese continues to lead the BASS Angler of the Year race over Kevin Van Dam by 108 points.
"Never in a million years, after the practice I had this week, would I have expected to be holding this trophy," Reese said. "I'm so relieved. Finally, after all those close calls, I'm bringing a trophy home."
Reese relied on the REVO Premier and STX to hold of hard-charging Abu Garcia pros Randy Howell (fourth), Boyd Duckett (seventh) and Bill Lowen (10th).
